There are times I have felt that I should be harsh to people, be insensitive to their emotions and above all be mean. Its because other don’t know how to respect emotions and expectations. I usually make fool of myself by  expecting others to reciprocate with the same as passion I show to them. People have work to do in life, they have got job to take care of, they have families and they just cannot sacrifice them for me! Me, a friend of theirs…just a friend of theirs! I don’t expect them others to sacrifice their beloved family or job but what I expect out of a trusted friend in at least a courteous ‘no’! There are ways to tell ‘no’ and people think that being silent is the best way!! Silence indicates a lot; on one hand it displays somone’s inability to interact or  act in distressing situations and on the other it shows someone’s lack of concern for other’s emotions. I get pissed when someone uses his silence as his defense….damn I want to hear from you the reason for your NO! I feel cheated when I don’t get my answer. I invest so much in planning things out, taking care of needs and even trying to pitch in my own money but then people are like “I am really sorry..do you want to be leave my job…you are a darling..hope you understand”; I do understand but then I would have appreciated if the same message would have been orally conveyed to me. SMS and E-Mails are cheap and people generally tend to use these but then they don’t realise that are belittling my efforts by doing so.

WordPress 2.0.5 has been released but I am wondering whether to play with the installation or not. Installing WP 2.0.4 was just a one click install for me, thanks to dreamhost. And plus I fear I might mess things up so I am happy with WP 2.0.4. I might think of taking the risk when they introduce certain features which I would fall in love with. I really can’t think of any feature right now but I would love if someone can customize K2 a lot…like changing font size of posts (I had tough time figuring that entry_content in the style.css is the damn place to change)..or customizing background colours and the bgcolours of the sidebar..I would love to see different colours for different links..categories or blogroll.

It’s raining cats and dogs here. I had to nearly swim my way through to class today. Thanks to sparky notes my presentation on 100 years of Solitude was appreciated ;). Well the novel is all about a child’s view! It has a story of 7 generations and how they cope up with philanderous Maude of men and fickleness of women. It’s definitely not about relationship going bad but it’s about how lust for sex and knowledge can ruin a family. Well in simple terms it was weird for me because the kind of situation described is something alien to me (it’s set up in the Latin American country of Columbia). This really sums up essence of novel. ( BTW the author Gabriel García Márquez won Nobel Prize for Literature in 1982)

No Eid tomorrow wtf! The reason, the bloody chaand didn’t show up!! It was a setback to me, well not just a setback but this news sent to deep chasm of frustration, when she told me there is no Eid tomorrow. It was like telling a eagerly dresses bride that her marriage has been canceled because of mahurat mismatch!
