A video showing hungry tigers eating a cow alive has shocked animal rights groups.

The clip was taken at a zoo in China where visitors are encouraged to feed the animals.

Special vending flaps are fitted to tourist buses and people pay £2.60 to ‘deliver’ a chicken and £100 for a cow. The ‘barbaric practice’ has been criticised by the World Society for the Protection of Animals.

It has been a busy week and this blog had to suffer because of that I have not been able to reply to tags and neither the regular entries have found way. Baazigar has already sent me his posts, I have to just edit them and post. The problem is that I used up 1 GB of alloted 2.5 GB download/upload limit per month in a day! I was actually downloading 24 using torrents. Unfortunately the first file of 350 MB turned out to be a trojan horse (3W player). I wonder what pleasure do people derive from such tricks. Anyways so I am left with only one option, use the net when its free (2 AM to 8 AM). BTW anyone has ever used the Wi-Fi connection using BSNL broadband modem? I tried configuring on my laptop but it doesn’t connect.

For 2 long years the pleasure of Internet eluded me. When it finally got to lay my hands on a private Internet connection, I was elated beyond imagination as my Miss Yahoo messenger was just few steps away. Orkut was the initial attraction. My first day on Orkut was spent visiting profiles of girls irrespective of their nationality, well that obviously includes a scrap ‘Hi..wanna be friends’.
