The untold love story-I

by Sharique on May 12, 2007

A big disclaimer before I start this series- This story does relate to few people alive on the face of this planet. This is a real story of a very close friend of mine who I am call by a pseudonym, Baazigar. The other characters will be named as they make an entry into the scene. Be my guest if you want to feel offended by your mention here. I am going to write this story about Baazigar in his own words because I am more comfortable doing so. So ‘I’ refers to Baazigar.

The strange world

by Sharique on May 9, 2007

I don’t think I have read so many ‘weird’ news dealing with India on the same day.

1. Lost 81 times, ready to take on PM- Having contested against President A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, his predecessor K.R. Narayanan, former prime ministers P.V. Narasimha Rao and Atal Bihari Vajpayee and former Tamil Nadu chief minister J. Jayalalithaa, Padmarajan found place in the Limca Book of Records in 2003 for losing 57 elections in various categories.

He added that challenging VVIPs was a passion for him, and hoped contesting his 82nd election against the Prime Minister would help him find a place in the Guinness Book of World Records.[HT]

Few things

by Sharique on May 7, 2007

I have been just too occupied lately with my thesis. This explains why this blog hasn’t been updated often. My RSS reader has millions of posts unread. I have been totally out of touch with the happenings around me. No news, no blogs and no orkuting. Things change for good and I think now I this whole month just to pass my time. I reaching Pune on 31st May to join my job (really excited about it :) ). Well this is how I plan to reach Pune from my home town( Hazaribagh); first reach, the capital of my state, Jharkhand, Ranchi by 3 hours of road journey, then catch a train to Kolkata (overnight journey), then wait for a day to catch a flight to Mumbai and then finally take a taxi to Pune. Exciting, isn’t it? That’s the pain living in small towns which have limited connectivity. There are other advantages like greenery which definitely provide some cheerfulness to us.
