Wo! there were few visitors on my blog from Ranchi. I suspect they were from the passport office, trying to do some search on me. Anand told me that they have got strict after a criminal got his passport made from Ranchi (not sure about his name but he is the murderer of Phoolan devi :P) Anyways dude if you happen to come here again then i have some news for you, I got my passport!! The recommendation letter from our registrar did the trick.
few thoughts

So i am finally a matak. And how did i start my day on 3rd? well i went to the 8 o’clock class only to find out that i am the only one present, even the normal, punctual, mataks were absent! I had to go because it’s my guide’s course. Life has changed drastically since the last semester. I still don’t get that the feel that classes have started…i am still in holiday mood and just 3 courses this semester would always keep me in that mood. I was going to the mess the other day, there were few 3rd yearites ahead of me. I could sense the suspecting eyes that were being cast upon me.
“Yeh abhi tak yehi hai ! lagta hai 5 by 4 ban gaya hai..poor guy dekhne me lagta to nahi hai ki cuppa mara hoga”
“arre nahi yaar dulla ho ga”
“ho sakta hai..bechaare matke..pain ho jata hoga inhe 5th yr me”
“oye bhool mat tu bhi dual hai! ”
“arre ha yaar lekin abhi bahut saal hai..tab ki tab dekhe ge”
BlogHER conference
Found this interesting on cnet. Blog these days are the ‘next big thing’. The whole world is turning towards blogging. I wrote about blogs before.
I have also read that people have been fired because of this. A secretary was ditched because she used to blog about her boss’s private libidinous life and how she became an object of exploitation. Blog gives us the freedom but its slowly turning into a money making game. Why the hell people wanna make money out of blog? Let it be free from evil desires of money. Because when money comes in the flavour fades away. You write for traffic and google adsense ads. Let blogs be a platform to reach out the world with your thoughts. Making this world a small place to live in by being in touch with the latest ,first person narrations, happenings around us.
And plus this conference is all about women bloggers. I often wonder how girls handle a slew of scraps on their blogs. People just comment on whatever they write. Even if the post is “I am not feeling well today” would attract lot of sympathisers. People are so desperate to know how a girl thinks.
Btw today was our convocation. My batchmates are now IITians. One more year for me before i post graduate ![]()

I met my guide after a long time. But i was surprised to not hear any complains about my absence. As a matter of fact he praised me
he was happy with the simulation i did but he still needs me to modify a part of the graph so that means its a packed weekend
. Well just to prove and highlight my guide’s standing on the national level: he authors recommendation for the Planning Commission in the field of energy and by far the most knowledgeable prof among all the IITs. And to hear few words of appraisal is no trifle feat
Banned..how dare u?
Blogs have revolutionised the way information is exchanged. It has given those suppressed voices a platform to express themselves to the world anonymously. Its just a matter of few clicks before one publishes his/her thoughts. Blogs of countries like China and Afghanistan have always attracted attention because of strict laws against freedom of speech in those countries. It has opened for them a window of opportunity to express themselves and let the world know about the atrocities and subjugation they are forced to live with. No one would have anticipated the popularity when blogs first appeared on the scene in 1998.
