Today I got late for the second time in a row. The last time i got late..here is the story
My entry (exhausted because of running…was late by 15 mins) “He is going to rape me today…no chance…May i come in Sir?”
Sir: “Sorry Sharique, I got late”
me: “No problem sir” Actually he also got late and assumed that i was on time….luck seems to favour me on rare occasions.

Got late because there were monkeys in the bogs (bathroom of graduate students) so i had to wait until they relieved themselves.

It’s my blog’s birthday today :). It has been exactly blogspot.com/2005/06/one-month-of-training.html”>one year since i started blogging. My sitemeter counter shows 1041 visitors since october 2005. Thats a lot actually. I wanted my blog to be away from search engines and people but unfortunately it has become very famous with google.
Most of my posts have been personal, straying few times to political posts. I have written about me and how my sensitiveness has affected my future discourses. I fell in love with 2 things an year ago and one of them was blogging. In fact my passion has gone so far that i want to write a book titled ‘ A sensitive boy’, well only if time permits. Last year has been the most eventfull of my life so far. I achieved things in life i always dreamt of, money (my stipend @ proteck ), fame, respect, the pleasure of working day in and day out for an event (Shaastra Robotics) and finally making it a big event so much so that i got my succinct interview published in a national daily! New faces came in my life and some became really close…Chotu, he was my co-coord. I still remember the day of our interview for the post of coordship. Me and toto were really worried about our prospects and this small guy walks in casually with coffee in his hand. I was trying to highlight our achievements at Mechanica and this guy started to belittle it on the basis that it was a copy cat of some Robotics competition held at Nirma institute. But i was still firm on my stand that it was a successful event without even a shadow of doubt. Finally the interview turned out to be a charade. We all were selected and the team that we had was much more than a group of people. All my vols, dopa,shamshan,raj and one more (oops i always forget his name!) were great and hard working. We really enjoyed organizing the event and bonds of friendship that was formed would always reamain. It was amply reflected in the birthday treats that we had during the last year. We have had 3 treats together and every one of those was truly majestic.

I earned some money for the first time in my life. I was so ecstatic! but the money didn’t last long in my hands.
Continuing on the new faces who came to my life….When i met Anand this time i told him or perhaps blurted out “pata hai anand during the years we haven’t been together new people have come in my life, few i wish never should have and few i wish should have come early”. It has been a mixed bag of emotions but my old friends of Xavier still continue to be my bestest friends. I met few interesting people on the net and one i would never forget is Raju chacha (click here and here) ….’pompous moron’ describes him best…this is what he writes ‘Need A friend… AM here….’ yeah yeah universal brother :)) he has all the time in the world to solve ur problem, well only if u are a girl….he is one big crap guy (not exactly sure;) ) i have ever seen…
