I had the wonderful witnessing the sun rise at Kanyakumari, the southern most point of India.
The first rays of the sun. There was a huge uproar as soon at it started rising.

Even though I have been in Chandigarh for over an year now, I never had the opportunity to visit Shimla which is only 120 KM from here. We stayed in Kufri, 20 KM from Shimla. The weather was awesome and stayed the same throughout the year. There were no fans in the rooms! Here is an view from the room in the morning

A heavy downpour on a Sunday afternoon makes the happy hours merrier. And this is what exactly happened last Sunday in Chandigarh. Water logging plagued most round-abouts. The accumulation of water was so severe that my car was half immersed in the water.

Saw this on the back of a truck. The truck was a petro-chemical product carrier. The the spelling of valve is totally screwed but all the words in the word ‘valve’ do exist.
