Bee for bictory

by Sharique on December 19, 2006

Most surprisingly Lalu and Rabri devi have been acquitted in a assets case.

And after the acquittal our Railway Minister’s faith in judiciary was reinforced.

A visibly happy Lalu, in his first reaction outside the court, said: “We have got justice from court. We have full faith in the judiciary. The verdict has reinforced my faith in the judiciary, he said.

Anyway there are many more cases still pending and I am sure that he won’t even live that long so as to get punished, Indian judiciary system you see!

One down, six to go Apart from the DA case, the Railway Minister’s name, along with that of former CM Jagannath Mishra, figures in as many as six cases of the fodder scam: Case: Fraudulent withdrawal of Rs 37.30 crore from Chaibasa treasury No. of accused: Lalu, Mishra and 68 others Case: Fraudulent withdrawal of Rs 3.13 crore from Dumka treasury No. of accused: Lalu, Mishra and 37 others Case: Fraudulent withdrawal of Rs 182 crore from Doranda treasury No. of accused: Lalu, Mishra and 145 others Case: Withdrawal of Rs 45.51 lakh from Bhagalpur and Banka treasuries No. of accused: Lalu, Mishra and 18 others Case: Withdrawal of Rs 90 lakh from Deoghar treasury No. of accused: Lalu, Mishra and 29 others Case: Withdrawal of Rs 37.63 crore from Chaibasa treasuries No. of accused: Lalu, Mishra and 68 others

BTW I have high regards for our Railway Minister but definiely not as the ex-chief minister of Bihar.

http://www.ibnlive.com/videos/28834/lalu-hails-clean-chit-slams-bjp.htmlFew of Lalu jee’s words which needs explanation

1. BJP thetherology me PhD haasil keye hue hai– BJP is too stubborn. Thethar is some weird form of a word mostly spoken in Bihar.

The most hilarious part is regarding the Champaign talk at the last. He mocked at Sardesai when asked whether he is going to celebrate by Champaign.

Its a must watch interview with Rajdeep Sardesai struggling with hindi and Lalu jee with english.

I am back after a week long vacation. The trip produced many firsts in my life which I plan to write in few days but first thought of sharing few pictures of Humayun’s tomb. I am obsesses with old monuments. I feel like reliving the past. I sometimes wonder if I would have been born in ancient times then I things would have been much better than they are right now ;)

Few pictures from across the border

by Sharique on November 30, 2006

I couldn’t resist posting these pictures.

The banner was put up as part of a campaign to decorate the city on Chinese President Hu Jintao’s arrival. Pakistan better get ‘over’ Chinese obsession. China is like asteen ka saanp (snake in your sleeves) , you never know when will it bite. And plus Pakistan is heavily dependent on Chinese technology so can they really afford mistakes like these? Or the Chinese president doesn’t understand English but they must be having lot of Chinese translators..won’t they?

This is an Urdu something (definitely not a sher ). English translation- Girls these days are so proud of their beauty, they don’t even know the first kalimah and they talk in English.

Well this is a satire on the modern Muslim women. I wonder why modern Muslim men are not included. This reveals a male chauvinistic, frustrated and above all biased view of the author.

Will post tomorrow an article on it.

Got both these pics from here and here
