These laws are bullshit. I am 14 and live in the U.S. and was arrested for the same reason. I have trial on June 17, 2010. I find it funny how law enforcement is wasting their time convicting a 14 year old with a computer.

As i m going to marry in couple of months i dont want any problem . please help me out and ontact me as soon as possible.Many a time i had try to contact orkut but i didnt got any responce.

I’m glad that he was chucked in jail for this. Identity theft is a crime, and kids should be taught that ignorance of the law is no excuse even if they think it’s funny to do something like that.

There are a lot of fake profiles on Orkut, especially when it comes to pages for well known musicians and actors. I think Orkut should clamp it’s foot down on this sort of thing as I think it deters other people from wanting to use it.
