I met my guide after a long time. But i was surprised to not hear any complains about my absence. As a matter of fact he praised me he was happy with the simulation i did but he still needs me to modify a part of the graph so that means its a packed weekend . Well just to prove and highlight my guide’s standing on the national level: he authors recommendation for the Planning Commission in the field of energy and by far the most knowledgeable prof among all the IITs. And to hear few words of appraisal is no trifle feat

I learned a very basic principle today. Actually i and bhave were returning from Ascendas and we saw a man in front of us carrying a small net. I casually labelled it as a net used to make tea. But bhave was of the opinion that its a mosquito (or fly) killer. The reason, the holes in it were too big for tea and ideal for air to pass through. Actually insects like flies and mosquitoes have a sensor at their back which can pick up any slightest disturbance in the air flow and thus it acting as a warning that someone is trying to kill it. So these nets have to be those! interesting huh? When i was in ninth and was exposed to the wonderful world of science (physics in particular…i mean the real life physics, read JEE physics ) i though i could logically explain everything around me, the rotating fan, the tube light, the bulb, etc etc ( i still remember my teachers statement “u write etc when u r short of ideas” ) but my engineering career has made me so disinterested in the things around me….my only priority is to get the job done without even bothering about the basics. And perhaps i learnt a lot during my preparations of JEE than i have in IIT !!
