I am back after a week long vacation. The trip produced many firsts in my life which I plan to write in few days but first thought of sharing few pictures of Humayun’s tomb. I am obsesses with old monuments. I feel like reliving the past. I sometimes wonder if I would have been born in ancient times then I things would have been much better than they are right now

do you really think that its was better before. i used to think like that, i dont anymore. life was simpler as compared to now but who’s to say at that point of time pple thought the same.
these pictures remind me of when i was 10 and we visited agra. im still not comf at looking at tombs.

Kind of as life was not as complicated as it is now. Isn’t it? but there must be several other problems like no TV, no internet and no long distance communications! a born poor remains poor all his life!
But i would ideally prefer to be born as a ruler of some place
and why are you not comfortable looking at them? they are beautiful pieces of architecture.

You know when i was in delhi (89-95), this one was being renovated. so we couldnt visit this place. I saw the pics now. thnx. I love visiting old monuments or for that matter old houses. They must have seen so many lives. If walls could speak…
