We are not good at sports, as a nation… but we excel in the sport of “Mob Violence”. The fine performance displayed in Mumbai 1992 and Gujarat 2002. Read a few books written by sociologists, to understand the mindset., the psychology of mob-violence… and one would discover that it is a great sign of cowardice. That crime is committed in the name of an ideology.. against a fellow human.. and the sadism the joy that accompanies in committing such a crime… derives its strength from the MOB behind the criminal. We have taken to “That” as a sport.
