Most locked cycle

This reminds me of an incident from last year. I stayed in my friend’s house during my trip to Delhi last year. It was December so the cold outside was lethal. My friend has a night shift job so I was alone in his apartment during nights. Before leaving he warned me to make sure that the doors are bolted well as thefts were a common phenomenon there. I bolted the doors from the top but ignored the bottom latches. There was a knock at the doors at 5:00 in the morning, it was still dark outside. The knocking grew with time and so my sleep was broken. I thought its the thieves so I got up and bolted the bottom latches of each and every door (I took the knife from the kitchen also). After that I came and slept. The person gave up after a while and so I had some respite of the fear that was shaking my body. I called up my friend and he informed that they were the colony guards! They came because the outer iron gate was left open. Apparently the guard called  my friend to complain against the person sleeping inside (he praised his sleep also).
