I am trying to find oout what happened to Patna Zoo’s rhinos after the recent flooding in Bihar. They had just received a mother and calf from San Diego Wild Animal Park. Consequently, all sorts of debris and sewage had invaded 3 rhino exhibits.

I am really concerned and would appreciate if you could provide me with an e-mail contact to Patna Zoo director Kumar.

Jelle,

The flood didn’t affect Patna. They caused havoc in the northern part of Bihar so you can be sure that the zoo is what it was before the floods.

Great stuff mate!!!

Thou i dont recall when was the last i went to Patna Zoo but i saw it from the Golf Club end once when i was back home a year ago and i was dissapointed to see that the greens around the cages were so dirty, and the reason im sure isnt that the zoo authorities dont work hard but its just the JANTA which makes life so tough for them.

Please try to keep your city clean patnaites or watever u call em or else our kids will end up playing on all the garbage that we dispose…

Peace
