Displaying courage far beyond the call of duty, a petrol pump employee clings to a car whose owner tried to flee the filling station at Delhi Gate without paying for the petrol and lubricants he had bought on Sunday. The employee, Surinder Singh, was dragged for almost half a kilometre before being hit by another car. He suffered injuries to his arms, legs and face (right). The rogue car driver escaped. This photograph helped the police trace the car. The driver, identified as Yateesh Gupta, has been arrested and a case registered against him at IP Estate police station.
