Even though I have been in Chandigarh for over an year now, I never had the opportunity to visit Shimla which is only 120 KM from here. We stayed in Kufri, 20 KM from Shimla. The weather was awesome and stayed the same throughout the year. There were no fans in the rooms! Here is an view from the room in the morning

I have become a huge fan of ‘The Mall’.
If you are planning a trip to Shimla, I would suggest plan in February when Kufri is covered in snow.
