The new don of Mumbai

by Sharique on April 12, 2007

The man with the most runs and the most centuries in international cricket moves on in life.

Neither Tendulkar nor Agarkar talked to the handful of journalists present at the venue. “We are not supposed to talk to the media,” they said. But they obliged the photographers, who followed Tendulkar and Agarkar to their cars. They had to be told by Tendulkar to stop taking pictures as he opened the trunk and carefully placed his kit bag, his pair of blue pads and two bats inside. He slowly reversed his red BMW and drove away with two security personnel accompanying him.

China recently unveiled the “world’s largest” bus. The Chinese manufacturer, named Zhejiang Young Man Vehicle Group, introduced the 25-meter-long “Superliner” at Shanghai’s Busworld Asia 2007 convention. The bus has five doors, 40 seats, carries up to 300 passengers and, according to a driver, “is flexible when cornering.”
